Did anyone go, I went last night and enjoyed myself. Ian Anderson looks younger an less mental than he did in the 70's.

My Mate and I have now decied that Focus is the next random band for us to go and see.

I went last year and enjoyed it although I was just about the youngest person there and I am not young. Very competent as you would expect but far too quiet for me. Ian Anderson doesn't like loud music. Martin Barre is not a bad guitarist now - I never really thought much of his playing back in the day.

I reckon Martin Barre to be a vastly underestimated player. I'm still trying to master 'Dun Ringill' from the Stormwatch album, which was recorded over 30 years ago. The sheer precision of the guy is pretty amazing. Although it's not too bad to get the main Am / D / C9 riff nailed once or twice, playing it time after time flawlessly is impossible for me as yet.
