I'm off to see Suede....
Discussion
...tomorrow night! Yippeee!
Having bought a ticket to see the last every Suede gig, on the 12th December 2003, I was gutted to find that they had added another date, the 13th December. By some fluke, I managed to get a ticket to see them the next night.
So, for the third time now, I'm going to see Suede play their "last ever" gig.(which will be the third time that I'm seeing them).
Does anyone else like them?

Kind of liked them at the time, but nothing special.
Is it the original line up with Bernard Butler? He was significantly better with Mcormant (probably spelt wrong). I think its probably that I find Brett Anderson so annoying that coloured my view at the time.
There were much better bands around at the time and there are now, but I'm sure the gig will be alright!

I was also at their 'last' last gig (Astoria December 03)...
Whilst I don't think that their later recordings (either as Suede or The Tears) are a patch on those first 2 albums (or the singles and b-sides that accompanied them) they were still solid, albeit a little uninspired; I do think they got better and better as a live band over the decade or so that I followed them.... Oh to see them one last time - again!

No, I think after The Tears, that Bernard Butler and Brett Anderson realised that they can't work together. So it's the post "Dog Man Star" line-up.Is it the original line up with Bernard Butler?
