Any Banjo players on here?

Just wondered if we have any experienced players that could give me a bit of advice..?

I play Guitar (mainly acoustic) and Ukulele at the minute but thinking about branching out a bit more and investing in a Banjo. The only problem is I don't really know where to start.. i'd be happy to go for a used one if I could find a good'n but there is so much variety I don't really know what i'm looking for. Especially with all the tat around at the minute.

Looking at eBay there are NEW Banjos for about £70 delivered, then they range alll the way up to 1.5k!

Any advice much appreciated

in no way am i a seasoned banjo player but from roughly the same place as you i have started to learn the banjo (acoustic and electric guitar).

after a lot of research i got this,

it is good but you do have to keep pausing it as goes ahead a bit quickly.
