Hi, my names Kieren and I'm a lady Gaga fan hehe

I think its strange, before I started liking Lady Gagas song my iPhone was mostly populated with classics like the Jam, AC/DC, Guns N Roses, Dire straits, Status Quo, Muse etc....

So why the hell do I like Lady Gaga?
At first I didn't want to like her music, to mainstream and a bit chavvy to me, but now I just cant help but love it! biggrin
and I'mhoping to go to one of her shows once I get my driving license...

Anyone else find themselves in the same boat?

Same as a lot of Pop I reckon. Some catchy melodies and interesting production. I prefer Rihanna, Girls Aloud and Britney etc for the most part though.

Some of her tunes are catchy. But she is weird for the sake of weird.

Does she write her own music?

If the answer is yes, then I'd say I'm quite fond of her/it.

Yeah, she has also spent years writing for all the other pop divas.

Her song writing abilities are very good, her voice is pretty good.

Her shows are for too over the top and not enough about the music, as a lot of the live stuff is just dancing.

So on this count, she is a let down.

For topical humour, skip to one minute in and watch the next 30 seconds (with sound)

I think for plastic pop she's pretty good - definitely a cut above the usual manufactured pap. Some irritatingly catchy tunes.

On the surface of it, there would appear to be many reasons to dislike Lady Gaga: the gimmicks, the attention seeking, the bandwagon jumping.
But what also cannot be denied, is that she has made some of the best pop music around.

Therefore a big thumbs up from me.
