Watching the feature on Hendrix on the One Show, when/where did Annie Nightingale get her estuary accent from? She always used to be a posh bird back in the day.

Just how old is she, when she was on the one show (I think it was the other month)
this crazy old age pensioner in bono's cast off shades, suddenly began throwing her arms about to the music in a rough approximation to dance & looked like your nan at a wedding,

I think she's jo Whileys mum isn't she?

She's 67 according to Wikipedia. Back in the 70's there was only her show, John Peel, and Whispering Bob on the OGWT that we thought were worth listening to. Now she looks like a mad old bat. Probably smells of wee as well. But then I probably soon will too.
