I've just had an invitation to sign up so I have. The email went ages ago.
I'm assuming there is no way of "storing" what you are listening to.......

When you're looking at a playlist, you should have a 'switch' somewhere (top right I think) for 'available offline' or something along those lines.

you can only use offline mode if you have a premium account. If you're on the free account the only way to store it is to purchase the songs

Just go for premium - it's a bargain considering what you get. And if you've got an iphone, you can listen to the music there (even on the tube).

Shame these are Windows services. Napster works on my Squeezebox, but has no iPhone client. Spotify has an iPhone client with downloads, but is Windows only, and my Squeezeserver is on UNIX on my NAS frown

Bah.

Have you tried last fm? That works on Sqeezebox, works on pretty much every format (Mac, Win, Unix, Android, Symbian, Xbox (Not PS3 though!).

No direct control over what's playing (unless you subscribe), but no adverts at all either...

Yeah, i've got lastFM and love the Scrobbler. I have installed "Espionage" iPhone scrobbler as well.
It's not really what i'm looking for. I want a Spotify which does Squeezebox, basically. I'm prepared to pay.
But I want a good breadth of Music. Not chart crap.

Apologies if I'm teaching you to suck eggs...

If you have already scrobbled a fair few songs, the 'My Neighborhood' playlist should play stuff you like, as well as throwing something else into the mix...

Either that, or 'My Library' will play the stuff back that you've already scrobbled...

I play Spotify through my stereo via Apple's Airport Express device. It's fantastic.

Just found this link on a site I visit.
Free Spotify invite. Just follow the instructions.
P.s Don't know if it works as I already use Spotify. but must be worth a try.

cheers for last.fm, had wrongly assumed it was a pay site and it searches for the artists I like and is playing some ones that never heard of before - Skazi - Vampire currently smile
