I have Audacity for editing wav files. I want something akin to Cubase Audio (or whatever it might be called now) simply to layer wav files and perhaps change the volume, then output the mix as a wav or mp3. Any recommendations?

What?

Copmuter Music magazine has a DVD every month full of free sequencers, editors, audio tracks, VST instruments etc.

Or Cubasis is a cheap version of Cubase

Or Ableton Live

Well, I've been playing with it for a few days. Not bad esp as it's free.
