I got some too. Was a rather long wait though, just before 11am before I got to the front of the virtual 'queue'.

^ Gutted. Didn't bother registering over the weekend because I knew I was travelling for work on Wednesday morning and wouldn't be there until 10ish, and didn't think I'd have a chance at that time. frown

Nice one to those that got them though - was lucky enough to see them at Reading a year or two back, but still gutted I missed out on this.

Ditto. And I've not seen them - missed out first time they were over here due to holiday, then missed out last year because a mate said he'd get tickets then "forgot"! rolleyes

So I'm off home in a minute* to buy a weekend Download ticket...

I check NME & some music forums pretty much daily in order to find out about gigs - it was on there a couple of days before registration opened...

I believe there was also a thread on here the day it was announced.

I'm sure I'll be able to buy a massively overpriced ticket off some tt on ebay though.

However I did see them at Reading in 2008, and they were nowhere near as good as they were back in the day. Even Reading 2001 (or was it 2000?) they were a bit limp.

I've just got a Download ticket, so I'll see them there regardless. Still a bit surprised at the lack of publicity for this gig though...

As part of the registration process (that enabled queueing to get a ticket) it was necessary to upload a photo which will be printed on the tickets - this should prevent any tickets appearing on re-eller websites...
