Thinking about re-designing a website I knocked up 18 months ago for a covers function band in Milton Keynes that I play with. The previous site was very web 1.0 / my space / front-page so my priority at the time was just elevating it out of that Lidl zone to something slightly classier that didn't give the impression you could hire us out for beer money and crisps.

Times have moved on and we're operating in much more rarefied circles and with my hindsight glasses on, I think there are design elements that don't look all that sophisticated now. It was a big jump from version 1 to version 2, but in hindsight I think the improvement was more the contrast than genuinely better in it's own right.

We're one of the most booked bands in the country and consistently getting great feedback about our quality and professionalism, but my niggle is the site may not support/reflect/imply the reality of us being premier league. So, as a test of fulfilling that purpose, I'm looking for a rough and ready sample of what people would think that we would quote for a function based purely on your impressions of the website.

Looks like a fairly standard party band line up - a grand for an evening?
