Stumbled upon my old record player in the loft at the weekend and my records so dug them all out. I'd forgotten how good they can sound.

Can you still buy vinyl? I know we have a second hand record shop in Newbury that I've passed hundreds of times but not gone in although I'll rectify that (when he's back off holiday) but can you still buy new vinyl and if so what sort of thing is available? I assume that main stream stuff is now only available on cd or download.

Cheers,

Mark

Nope Main stream stuff is still sold on Vinyl it's just a case of knowing where to go. Mostly they are on the Internet these days. Mute do sell direct for their Vinyl and a quick google should find others.

Yes, you can still buy vinyl, see 'The last album you bought' thread.

For mainstream type vinyl, internet like Diverse vinyl can do it, lots of vinyl shops in That London / Manchester / Glasgow / Birmingham still.
