Earlier tonight (about 22.30) I was listening to Kerrang radio and they played this fantastic Jimi Hendrix tune.

All I can say is that he kept mentioning 'telephone' in the lyrics. It was kind of a funky tune in the vein of "Wait until tomorrow".

I've been on Kerrang's site for the tracklisting but it's all been lifted (since midnight I would imagine.)

Appreciate if anybody can identify it. I've got to get this tune or just get the album it appears on.....

Nah, it's not that one. I've got a fair bit of his stuff but it's mainly compilations. This sounded so good, I'm surprised it's eluded me up until now. I wonder how many more there are of this quality to discover!

I think I may start collecting all the albums the experience released.

Cheers for the help so far.

Oh, I've just thought, I heard recently that there has been a bit of a discovery. Apparently some previously unreleased material has been unearthed and it is being prepared for release now.

I wonder if it was one of those. Should be interesting.

Excellent! Cheers for that. Will look forward to it!

I also listen to 6 Music when at home now, brilliant station. Glad they're giving it an airing too.

Shouldn't take long; they only released three (officially).

The first two are the best (IMHO)

Incidentally, there is good anecdotal evidence that the main there from "Third Stone form the Sun" (from the ist album) is based of the Coronations Street theme.

"Bleeding Heart" refers to "no call on my telephone". What's the tempo, fast or slow? Blues or rock?

As others have mentioned, probably one of these two.

Playing this now, quite raw but good listening for Hendrix junkies.
