I'm looking for a program that will enable me to record whatever noise is coming from my computer.
Is there such a thing?
How much is it?

Does anyone know of any good free ones knocking about?

Any help appreciated, cheers!

Free Hi-Q Recorder. It's... free.

ETA: From its help page: Some examples of what Easy Hi-Q Recorder can record are: any type of audio such as streaming Internet radio, audio or video sounds from Windows Media Player, RealOne Player, Winamp, QuickTime or any other media player, games, etc. Record the sound from any Internet broadcast, audio or video, whether it's news, sports, music, talk radio or any format. Anything that can be heard from your speakers can be recorded.

Also, Audacity has an option to record the output, if your PC music circuits allow for this.

Doh! Of course, Audacity. It's more useful than the software I recommended, too.

I used to use LP Recorder, and change the soundcard mixer settings around.
