I've been revisiting their stuff this afternoon.

While some of the tracks sounds a little cheesy nowadays, they were quite advanced in their musical style weren't they? Good mixing and sampling techniques IMO. I miss those heady 90s days...

P W E I, turn it on and turn it up high! My particular favourite being Def Con One.

Hopefully it's not just me who remembers them, or I am about to feel rather stupid biggrin

"There is no love between us any more", although IIRC there were more brackets than that. Didn't they also have something with a sample of Mel & Kim?

edit - yes, the Mel & Kim one was "Go! Box Frenzy" from the album of the same name. smile

edit again: Boo - wiki tells me the song wasn't called that at all. frown

Loved the Poppies. Loved their t-shirts. This is the Day... and Cure for Sanity were soundtracks to two whole summers for me and my mates.

Beaver Patrol. Possibly not their most intelligent tune, but great.

92°F is probably my favourite tune - that or Karmadrome. Or Another Man's Rhubarb.

Saw Jesus Jones on a comeback tour a few years back (remembers it was quite a few years back now).

They were fantastic.

Early 90's indie - proper music, non of this thud thud bang bang stuff.

And all this were fields, and petrol was cheap.

Sure it was a 'comeback' tour? They never really went away as far as I know.
