I've never heard it properly, but I keep catching snippets of what appears to be a proper old school ska track on the radio. Am I imagining things?

They also played Incubus and Feeder yesterday - could it be the chavs and teeny boppers are losing their grip on Radio One?

Not a Paolo fan usually, but I think I'll give the album a listen now.
Never heard The Apocryphalites before(I listen to a lot of older Ska/reggae/dub like Desmond Dekker, The Skatalites, Lee Perry etc.), gave them a quick listen on YT and now need to see them!

save the world by the king blues got a bit of airplay a couple of months back, and before that king prawn got a bit of play. kid british were played a fair bit by the weekday afternoon DJ too... loving Kid British since i saw them support the enemy!

My OH's band are playing at The Old Police station in Deptford tonight and the whole gig is being broadcast on http://www.opticalradio.net/

If you're very lucky you might even catch me on the video stream. biggrin
