Right... had an urge to put together a 'Classic 80s' playlist.

What's missing?

Hold The Line - Toto
Rosanna - Toto
More Than A Feeling - Boston
Keep on Loving You - REO Speedwagon
In the Heat of the Moment - Asia
Jump - Van Halen
Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love - Van Halen
Jack & Diane - John Mellencamp
Free Fallin' - Tom Petty
Sarah - Thin Lizzy
Since You Been Gone - Rainbow
Owner of a Lonely Heart - Yes
Broken Wings - Mr. Mister
Kyrie - Mr. Mister
Wishing Well - Free
Higher Love - Steve Winwood
Satellite - The Hooters
Lullaby - Shawn Mullins
You're The Voice - John Farnham
Centerfold - The J. Geils Band
We Close Our Eyes - Go West

Help.... I'm sure I'm missing some corkers!

laugh Now that I look back at the list I see where you're coming from!

Thanks for all the input so far... Not so sure on the Ultravox / FGTW / Madonna suggestions, they don't quite have the right hairstyles for my liking! ;o)

I'm thinking more American 'soft rock that you'd hear in a movie' type stuff.
Good shout on the Bon Jovi... I'll do some more digging in that direction.

Keep 'em coming - I'm sure there're some more along the lines of the Journey / Toto / Boston tunes...

It's a bit grim but it was very popular around the mid 80's. I can't remember exactly what it's called.

Hmm tricky one this one. The OP is after Mullet Rock & that's not normally my thing but I will give it a bit of a go. Its also not helped as he as already picked some awesome tunes of that genre. Lets see now. scratchchin

If Anyone Falls - Stevie Nicks
Babe - Reo Speedwagon
Some Like It Hot - The Power Station
We Close Our Eyes - Go West
Lets Go Crazy - Prince
Back In The High Life - Steve Winwood
Ride Like The Wind - Christopher Cross
Its Raining Again - Supertramp
New Frontier - Donald Fagen
Born In The USA - Bruce Springsteen
Oh Diane - Fleetwood Mac
Urgent - Foreigner
Substitute - Clout
Need You Tonight - INXS
Private Eyes - Hall & Oates
Since You're Gone - The Cars
Maybe Monday - Til Tuesday

Well look at that, The Toad knew more than he thought.

P.S. It doesn't matter which genre of 80s playlist you're putting together you have to have Safety Dance - Men Without Hats. Its the law, dude!
