Just a couple , but they all follow a similar theme.

I've got the album ... the music is very good, if a little bit of a copy of various 80s metal.
There's definitely a bit of 80s Whitesnake in there. Take away the joke lyrics and it would still be good.

Same.

I actually posted in another thread a while back about these guys;

Bloody good musicians if you check out some of their lives videos. They are absolutely hilarious!

The 'New' Spinal Tap IMO.

That website is amusing, i see there in London in march, i'm slightly tempted to live the 80's for a night and go as i do agree if you look past the lyrics they are quite talented.

They look like they put on a really good, fun show from what I've seen and heard.

If they're here in March...then I think I'll be paying that show a visit!

Didn't everyone get all this out of their system with The Darkness about 5 or 6 years ago?

The clever thing about Steel Panther is that it is a brilliant parody of the various bands.. I think it's fantastic and have had it in the car with me for some time now. biggrin

I saw one review saying they were Bad News meets Derek and Clive. Think it sums them up well, I love 'em!!

They were support for ZZ Top last year and were brilliant. Although I didn't realise at first they were a parody band and so thought they were serious for a while. After catching a few of the lyrics and the bass player geting out a hand mirror and re doing his hair it clicked!

If you like hair metal I would say get to see them if you can!

Freakin' awesome, I wasn't even alive in the 80s (born 6 months in to the 90s biggrin) but I love hair metal. They've got the parody thing down to a tee!
