Trying to get 2 tickets for this, I'm a bit late trying to get them haha! Don't really want to go down the ebay route. Any suggestions?

You could try registering on Scarlet mist - you will get notifications when tickets become available (might just a few hours before the concert).

They are still accepting registrations for email alerts for the. Friday concert

Any tickets sold through the site will be sold at face value.

Otherise you could try - seatwave but expect to pay a bit of a premium.

By official do you mean ticketmaster and the like?

Yep

keep checking every now and again if the months leading up to the gig.

esp easy if you wnat a standing becoz they are all the same - tad more difficult if you wnat seats as the better ones may be gone

dont rely on the TM alerts, they wont necessarily alert you when a batch have comeback on sale - they just get fed out slowly - hence you have to always be on the lookout!

Fair play, in that case I'll keep my eyes peeled!

Wait until the day, go to the stadium and buy from the touts. I did that for Muse last time they played there, there were thousands for sale outside, and I got 2 standing tickets for 20 quid each. I've done it for a few gigs at wembley now and I have never paid over the odds for the tickets and for nearly all of them the tickets have been under face value.

Was a bit nervous of doing it to start with but now I wouldnt do it any other way. Play the touts at there own game!

I did that for MUSE and quite a few other bands

I almost had an epic fail at U2 tho - the standings were still go + face value 10 mins before kick off - I had tried for about an hour to find a ticket.

In the end I managed to get an £80 seat for £15 which i settled for as I had stood up at the front the night before.

Sounds like a good idea! Its not until September anyway so I've got a while to sort it out.

Hope they play at Leeds Fest!

I got mine the day they came out biggrin All teasing aside touts are probably the way forward for a gig like this. Thats if you don't get one off ticket master pre-gig.

Not me. Are there any still on sale?

Failing that I can't wait to see them at Glasto. The Pyramid Stage is going to erupt. smile

I hope they have better big screens this time - the ones they had last time were an absolute shambles because if you didn;t have a clear view from where you were standing it was hard to see anything

See how narrow they were - and the camera movements were really fast as well
