Im after an electro acoustic guitar (acoustic would do, but I prefer the more compact size and feel of electro acoustic), don't want to spend more than £100, and will be used mostly for getting back into playing after a very long layoff (so really a beginner type guitar).

Saw one made by Lindo (?) on Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lindo-Black-Cutaway-Triang...

which looks to fit the bill, but would prefer to take a recommendation off someone who has bought a electro acoustic that fits the price range, and is impressed with it. Last thing I want is a guitar that wont hold it's tuning, or where the strings rattle as soon as the action is set etc.

If under £100 wont get me a decent one I would prefer to wait and save a bit more, but hoping someones got some pointers or advice.

At that price bracket you'd be much better of buying used - something from Washburn/Vintage/Aria/Crafter etc or even an older Yamaha APX would fit the bill perfectly.

What with the relatively high quality of cheap guitars and the low prices available nowadays, i would recommend new. Any one of these should do the trick for you -

Thanks, Ibanez looks good, think buying new would be the easier choice given you never know how a used guitar has been treated, may well go for that one since I lover the Ibanez electric I had many years ago.

I too prefer to buy my guitars new. The Ibanez does look good, and a reliable name you can trust.

I've got that exact Ibanez model, and I like it. Action as standard is quite high and I haven't changed it, so I've had no worries with string buzz, and it's quite good for toughening up the old fingers again, if you're just getting back into it. Stays in tune perfectly (although I'm not a violent player smile ), and seems very well made.
