Absolutely agree, saw them at the MEN Arena, the RATM and Soundgarden songs showed the Audioslave songs to be what they are, average! soundgardenworld said:

+1 Excellent news!Would indeed be great if they did a new album, something in the vein of Superunknown would be top as Down On The Upside was very poor for their final studio outing IMO

Pearl Jam went downhill after Ten IMO...
Soungarden always were my favourite Seattle band.
I started off with the Loud Love EP(?), then Badmotorfinger (still my favourite of their albums) then Superunknown. I haven't got Down on the Upside so can't judge it.
Never a fan of Pearl Jam or Alice In Chains but have heard both their recent albums and rate the AIC one very highly, PJ's is growing on me after a shakey start!
