Heard this song a few times and trying to find out who it is by.... google shows two possibilities a band called Everclear and one called Fastball.

The version I've heard is quite poppy in tempo, sung by a bloke, not dissimilar sounding to Robbie Williams.

No access to youtube or amazon samples so I can't listen from here - anyone know the track?

Its an Everclear song according to youtube. I know the song well and know of Everclear, but never put the two together before.

  • Edit
Further searching suggests that it was originally a Tal Bachman song that was covered by Everclear...and Kurt Nilsen...and Fastball so take your pick. smile

No, he covers it. It's Tal Bachman's tune (son of BTO's Randy Bachman, named for jazzer Tal Farlow.)

Yep, original was by Tal Bachman. Kurt Neilson was a reality tv winner. IIRC it was like an international Pop Idol that he won.
