I did kinda like the Sugababes version, but I hadn't heard the original, and thanks for bringing it to my attention - its damn good!

I'm generally hating the current spate of cover versions.

Dizzee Rascals "Dirtee Cash". Its not a sample, its a totall fking rip off, with a crappy rap over the original track.

Tinchy Stryder "Youre not alone". The original track was good, and aspects of the remix are quite good, but it totally gets ruined by Stryders utterly craptacular joke of a "rap". The guy is a complete and utter buffoon.

Credit to both of them though for managing to make money off someone elses work, and in the process ruining some good tracks. And minus several bazillion points to the press for describing these tracks as having "sampled" the original tracks, when in reality they're just ste cover versions.

The only one seemingly bucking the trend is Florence and the Machine. Their version of "You got the love" is bloody fantastic.

why did they remix the florence version for the single though? its far too harsh imo, album is miles better.
