I suspect, as with last year, a lot of deposits won't turn into tickets and there will be some available for resale.

That will probably be one hell of a gig.

Such a shame Bono is such a tt - he completely clouds the whole 'U2 are an awesome band' thing.

yes but with their tour going on in north america it should be a back to basics gig without all the fancy theatricals and hence awesome. bugger

We were planning to go next year and it's my birthday that weekend but then some inconsiderate cock of a best mate decided to have her wedding that weekend. Cock.

Going to Le Mans instead to make up for it.

Why? They have 3 copies.

With it being the 40th I was hoping for something great, bit disappointed with U2. Not my cup of tea.

U2 are something great!! I've been going to Glast for 25yrs and U2 finally agreeing to play is a big deal.....I've seen some of the best bands in the world and U2 live are hard to beat even if your not a fan

After being taken to see them in Paris, I was disappointed. I don't think I could consider them one of the bast bands in the world. One of the biggest pop bands, yes. Not best. I just don't see this as a Glastonbury thing.

Luckily I couldn't really afford the spare cash to go this year, so wont mind not being there.
