Can't see it as I'm on my phone but if its the live version they did at Pompai (sp) then it is brilliant.

Mr. Cotty Sir,

Even though that link has been posted 3 or 4 times on PH over the past 3-odd years or so - it's still as good as ever.

For me Roger Waters era Floyd is the only Floyd really. After Roger Waters left it all became a bit 'Pink FLoyd Lite'. Theres a good argument to be made that The first Floyd album without Roger Waters is more like Dave Gilmores third solo album in all but name(Rick Wright and Nick Mason hardly feature on AMLOR). Not that i dislike Dave Gilmore though, he has such a deft touch to his playing its incredible, simply that for me, without Roger Waters cutting cynical lyrics and bass style it was always missing something.

True, AMLOR was essentially a Gilmour solo album, all the legal problems prevented it from being anything else, that said it was a better record than Radio KAOS.

Don't misunderstand me, I like AMLOR and other non-Waters Floyd, but not nearly as much as when he was in Floyd.

Having said what i said about AMLOR though, the same could be said about 'The Final Cut' being Waters first solo record i guess, it even states as much on the sleeve doesn't it. The Final cut by Roger Waters, Performed by Pink Floyd. You pays your money i guess.

Personally i love listening to both Gilmours Floyd and Waters Floyd alike.True both are poles apart, but still the greatest band of all time in my opinion. The both waters and Gilmour have there weaknesses,Gilmour can`t do lyrics,Waters lyrics are too much the same rantings.
