...but I think that Susan Boyles version of Wild Horses is bloody amazing.

The first couple of times I heard it I didn't realise it was her at all. It still makes my the hair on my neck rise, and causes goose bumps.

Shouls I be worried? Is something happening to me....? I've now heard that she is on the X Factor next weekend and I want to watch it yikes

Glad it's not just me there.

Heard it on the radio the other day and thought to myself who's that singing, it's excellent, so kept an ear out for the announcement at the end of the song. Lo and behold it was Susan Boyle!

Awful version. Sings through her nose and has ruined a classic.

Not that i could do any better mind.

Absolutely has not ruined a classic. IMO.

It's a very different interpretation, and even now when I hear it, it moves me.

It's a terrible indictment of society that if she were more attractive to look at she'd be doing far, far better. Listen to the crap the Cheryl Cole produces, but because she is very pleasing on the eye (and is actually a rather lovely person)her single and album get to NUmber 1.

Not a bad version by any means, but far from great, would benefit from being sung with a little passion / feeling

In general, yes, but in this case I'd disagree because she certainly isn't doing badly for herself. I guarantee she will have the number one album this week having shifted a LOT of albums!

Yeah, someone just told me she is worth £8m. Fair play!

I heard it yesterday for the first time. I'm not 100% sold on the cover, but I have to say her voice is simply astounding. I have a strong aversion to reality tv, in fact, most tv now I come to think of it so although I heard the brou-ha-ha about her, yesterday was the first time I actually heard her sing.

I would say that if a die hard death/black metal fan thinks she is good then she must have a pretty broad appeal!!

But I still prefer the original of Wild Horses

Well I hate big 'vib' voices, so don't like hers, but what a great instrument she has, and she uses it really well.

Nice arrangement, if it bit 'Chad'.
