Today I decided it was time I made a start on copying evereything on my old analog multitrack to the more recent digital one. Unfortunately I'd only done about half an hour's worth when my ancient Fostex A-8 gave up the ghost. It will wind and rewind but won't play any more!
So does anyone in the Bristol area have one (or one of its near relatives, the R-8 or Model 80) I can hire or even better, borrow for a day or two? It's not really worth getting mine repaired, as I only want to copy a couple of dozen songs then it can head for the scrapheap.
