Really liking the single,

Poetry of the Deed

Anyone bought the album ?

Listening to samples on istore now and really fancy it, but the music budget has been spanked a bit lately.

Worth having ?

Haven't got that album myself yet, was more into Million Dead. I did enjoy the Campfire Punkrock EP and Sleep Is For The Week. I can't see it being disappointing.

Wonder if Pitchfork or Sputnik have any reviews yet?

I got Love Ire and Song a few weeks ago - really like that. Haven't heard much of his other stuff though.

The new album is good, but not as amazing as previous releases.

Love, ire and song is a classic album. Long live the queen from that album is probably in my top ten favourite songs.

I'd definitely recommend seeing him live. I saw him a few weeks ago and he was excellent.

I knew Prufrock before he got famous and Reasons not to be an idiot are both amazing songs with amazing videos.

Just to update this..

I bought Poetry of the deed and I think its fabulous.

I adore his voice and his lyrics are cuttingly superb.

From Try this at home :

"If you’re oh so fking different then who cares what you have to say?
And there’s no such thing as rock stars, there’s just people who play music,
and some of them are just like us, and some of them are dicks.
So quick, turn off your stereo, pick up that pen and paper,
you could do much better than some half-arsed skinny English country singer."

Definately a strong recommendation.
