Just back from the glasgow leg at the SECC and if you have a ticket you are in for a treat. A fking stonking gig. I have never seen them before live and it will take some beating. Birmingham tomorrow night i think

It was an excellent show, and a brilliant stage, but to be honest I was pretty disappointed with the setlist. I'd have liked some of the older stuff (there was nothing fron the first album, no citizen erased) though maybe that's just because I've not really warmed to the new album, but I'm very suprised that they've even dropped butterflies and hurricanes, and bliss.
If you've not caught them before, or aren't too worried about the older stuff, then it will be an awesome show, but I am really sorry to say that I felt pretty underwhelmed afterwards. frown

I will admit I am getting ready to be disappointed. The best tour was the absolution tour - that was awesome! Since then its been downhill, the wembley gigs were ok but a bit souless - more down to venue - and the current album is utter toilet so any songs from that are an excuse to go to the bar...! We'll see!!

I am flying to Turin in early December for the gig there! Looking forward to that!

I'm going on Friday, managed to get a box ticket..which means free booze, but so far away, that I'll need a telescope.

Gutted to hear that they aren't playing anything off the first album.... I haven't even listened to the new one, I just know that I'm not going to like it after hearing the first 2 singles from it.

Oh, can't complain...did I mention the free booze?

What time are Muse likely to be on stage? I know the support starts at 6:30.

The Big Pink - whoever they are!

Biffy Clyro are supporting Muse on their non-UK European dates.

They are playing "Dominos" by The Big Pink to death, so I'm sure everyone will recognise one song during the support ;-)

Hugely jealous of you lot. I've only seen them once - Glasto a few years back - but of the (pretty numerous) bands I've seen live Muse are undoubtedly the best.

Went last night - absolutely awesome and a superb set list. Amazing light show etc too for a small stage. Well done boys!

I'd love to see Muse again at some point - It was Wembley Arena a few years back that I saw them.

I couldnt have been further away from the stage but the set they played was just relentless music I was in a band myself at the time and I came away feeling inspired and driven, if a little frightened wink

Ive warmed to the new album actually, but can see that its not quite going to have the impact and power of some of the epic older tunes.

Still well worth a look though I reckon!

My brother-in-law went last night to the O2 and a colleague saw them at the Children In Need concert earlier in the evening. Both said Muse were excellent.

Well, we missed the support act but Muse were simply awesome! We had excellent seats too - second row in the banked seating right at the back of the stage.

No better, no worse than I have seen them before. New songs are utter st but the old stuff was ok.

Let hope the next stuff they put out is much much better!

Where you right behind the stage? I saw seats there, didn't think that they would sell tickets for them..

The gig was great. Was lucky enough to be in one of the suites. Was quite far back, but the food and alcohol laid on, more than made up for it smile
