Leading on from September's 'favourite 80's pop tune' thread its time to bring the nostalgia to the next decade.

To kick things off I give my (and apparently Steve Lamacq's) favourite 90's tune. Until I think of another one.

I loved that record - think I only caught them live once, in the Charlotte in Leicester - all I really remember is that he was very pissed from the start and swigged from a bottle of whiskey for the duration of the set!

Here's few of my faves from the same era (some of which I'd probably think were crap if I heard them for the first time now, but hey... they formed part of my soundtrack to my 90s! smile)

Drive - Curfew
Longpigs - On and On
Perfume - Haven't Seen You
Stereolab - French Disko
