Is it just me or does anyone else here miss ‘hands in the air’ trance?
Back in my clubbing days I loved it. I mean really loved it.

Maybe I’m getting old but they don’t make ’um like they used to. I have fond memories for Sublime / Home in Sydney, Passion in Coalville, and even the Egg (at the end of the night / morning!) – or am I getting old ‘cos I don’t like this new modern crap?

A few suggestions (All older tracks, as I hung up my DJing headphones a few years ago now, and have lost touch to a degree with newer trance)

Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Three n One mix)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche
Agnelli & Nelson - Everyday (The original mix, not any of the many remakes)
Push - Strange World (H&H 2000 mix)
Delerium - Silence (Whoops - just saw that one in the OP!)
Tillman Urmacher - On The Run

Evoke - Arms of Loren (OK, not a trance track at ALL.... but definately a "hands in the air" track)

There is some really good stuff out there - and have been for a few years now (but you need to look for it).

Have a look on here shamless plug, and you will find some lovely trance.

Yes, but I love the original (New Order 'Confusion'), as used in my wedding!

Absolutely. It's like a lottery draw when I'm in a club and hear the bassline start. Is it going to be awesome? Is it going to be st? Tonight's numbers are...

I like a lot of stuff that Armin van Buuren is involved with. Likewise Tiesto.

Nope, it is definately not just you.

I had this on a very early pre-release white label, which just had "play me" written in marker pen on it.

Had a listen at home, and was monumentally unimpressed. Then played it during a set the following night. The response was unbelievable. For weeks/months it became a mainstay track for Friday/Saturday nights.

And I still can't stand it to this day.......
