Are bands putting in more effort into albums now?

WASP, Megadeth, Lynryd Skynryd, Kiss all have their best stuff in years out !

Ahhh, Megadeth, Plimuff Pavillions '95. We came in the next day and put our ticket stubs on the Jehova's Witness Kid's desk, he was a fan and wasn't allowed to go.

Poor choice of sky-daddy, it was an epic gig. Pantera were the support and the loudest thing I have ever heard.

I'll agree with Megadeth, not heard the others although tempted by WASP. Not heard any of their previous albums though.

Prodigy's newest album has some of the best stuff they've ever released on it. Paradise Lost's last two albums have been the best they've done since 1994-ish. I have some optimism over the new Fear Factory album too.

Shame Slayer couldnt manage it.

They are, only Gary Rossington from the original line up survives.

PANTERA!?
Jealousy doesn't cover it. I would give anything to see them live, just a shame Dimebag was shot. frown

Never went away. Although it's more of Dave Mustaine and who ever can put up with him. New albums pretty solid too.

No, they have Chris Broderick now, he's nowhere near as good as Marty or Chris Poland were, but the new album is still good.

They kinda did for a bit... Dave Mustain fell asleep with his left hand between his head and a metal bedstead and killed the nerves in his arm. Took him a year to learn to play again.
