Well if you were given £100 of iTunes vouchers what would be the 10 albums that you would recommend to get.

These can be old or new albums, just have a budget of £100 so about 10-12 albums.

What would you recommend getting?

You'll have to narrow that down a bit to specific genres, otherwise 10 isn't enough.

Why pick a genre? I listen to all music.

So if you had £100 and no music collection. What would be the first ones you wanted?

No you don't, the scope of music is so huge that's pretty much impossible. Or would you like recommendation for bratislavan hip-hop and ethiopian goth surf pop?

Something by Röyksopp, Melody AM, but any of them are good.
Rosenrot from Rammstein, German rock stuff
Music for the Jilted Generation- The Prodigy
Leftfield- Leftism
Lady Sovereign - Public warning- always makes me smile!
Duran Duran- Greatest hits - Them were the days
Daft Punk - Homework
I'll recommend Ima from BT again, but he's got quite a few other good ones
Blur - Parklife - haven't heard many of them played for ages
final pick, try some famous classics, maybe Holst's planet suites just to round things off

'The Understanding' is a superb album, and not as cartoony as melody AM, plus it has the utterly SUPERB track 'What else is there'
