I kinda like it, but for once some people got it right on youtube - its not really what we've come to expect from Within Temptation. Maybe they're trying for something more commercial?

The guys'n'gals I was with when i saw them a few years back would be up in arms over something like this.

WT should be huge sound stages, guitars, orchestras and Sharon Den Adels voice shining out ....

yes Although you can't blame a band for trying something new when they've been doing just that for the best part of a decade...

True, but the same could be said for many of the bands in that genre.

I thought WT were one of the more popular bands in the symphonic rock genre, and doing quite nicely from it.

I can't knock them wanting to change - if this brings their music to a wider audience, while keeping the majority of their music in the well known and loved style, then it has to be a good thing.
