Awesome! Not that interested in the 'VJ' aspect of it personally, but it looks like they've finally added CDJ support for USB media - about time too... love the CDJ 'interface' (I pretty much don't DJ on anything else these days) but having to burn and play 'archaic' CDs through them seems crazy in this day and age!

I can't even use my 1000mk2's properly - I've got no chance with this!

Before I retired (nearly three years ago!) I used Pioneer CDJ's at a few venues - really, really nice bits of kit.

Bizarrely though, I still preferred the Denon DN2000's for mixing. (Probably because over the years they were so widely used, they became the CD version of SL1210's)

Quite like my old CDJ100s's. Simple but meant I could use my CD collection.

Nice little demo of it here... I'd assumed that with the DVD capability it would allow people to VJ, but I should have realised it's in the CDJ rather than DVJ line-up - would be interesting to see if it can handle MP3's better than the slightly ropey support on the 1000Mk3's!

It doesn't seem to do a lot musically that one can't do with the 1000's (tho the beat cutter looks like a nice addition - something that the 800's always showed the 1000's up on!) but it's a fantastic (if rather pricey!) evolution in terms of the whole user interface - both the front panel and the different options for sources of music - I want 4! biggrin
