Hi folks, I'm trying to build up my collection of Factory Records music, merchandise and memrobelia. If anyone has anything kicking around no matter how trivial it may seem (flyers, adverts, cassettes etc) Please give me a shout, happy to pay or make a donation etc.
Would love to know what stuff is lurking out there especailly the early FAC catalogue numbers or anything relating to Tony Wilson, Martin Hannet, Peter Saville or the Hacienda

Bands featured include..
A Certain Ratio
New Order
Caberet Voltaire
Durutti Column
Joy Division
Happy Mondays
Northside

Ta, Corin

I have a surprisingly large collection of ACR (flood damaged covers) and The Wake (not) vinyl, broadly FAC50-200, that could disappear. The vinyl is probably mint in most cases, given that I can't remember playing them.

The early Durutti Column stuff isn't for sale, but mp3's are possible. Similarly FAC12 (with the very first New Order), and a related Disque de Crepescule collection with several Factory artists.

Corin,

I've made a list of what I have and condition. PM me an email and I'll fire it over.

I have a lot of the early ones like FAC 2, the Factory Sampler with the stickers, ACR cassette in a purse, JD Flexi disk, Duritti Column sandpaper sleeve etc.

How about a swap with any early Disintegrator records on Direct Drive or other labels? Ot failing that, your Brotherhood of Strucutre rarities?

You could get FAC 501, but you'll need a shovel... paperbag

I too have FAC 2 but the Durutti sandpaper is high on my list of wants. The sandpaper cover was meant to destroy all other records in your collection and they were assembled by Ian Curtis as 'overtime' to raise money for his young family. Top item. yes

The minor problem being that the grit came loose and mullered the original album...

List sent, Corin. I have FACT50 and FAC 52 - does that average out?

There used to be a record shop in Manchester called Factory Records selling them and other types of records.

Sadly gone.
