A'up,

I've been listening to their first album BRMC for years and only just realised they've released 4 albums since! They are all pretty much great! Howl is awesome - more subdued than BRMC, but still great! Reminds me of a rockier version of Dandy Warhol's Thirteen Tales For Urban Bohemia...

Any other bands that sound like them, or even better mix in the Dandy Warhol's too?

Saw these live ages ago - really good - but about 5 years before their time I think.

If you listen to the Kings of Leon, especially their recent stuff, then old BRMC, the sound is very similar!

Have you seen the documentary Dig?

It follows the Dandy Warhols and Brian Jonestown Massacre(some members of this band formed BRMC).

Interesting, if only to see BJM's lunatic singer.

Get Pyschocandy by Jesus and Mary Chain as I think this was a big influence on BRMC.
