Saw them there, and thought they were incredible! Needed a sit down and a refreshing beverage straight after...!

am very interested to hear what these are like. Are they planning on doing an album?

Looked for one as soon as I got back from Reading! Haven't found anything definite - play.com will let you pre-order their un-titled, un-release dated album (confused) but this review of their debut gig I found seems pretty sure one will be released this 'fall', so hoping in the next 3 months or so...

Was lucky enough to see them last Wednesday supporting Arctic Monkeys at Brixton, and then again at Reading this weekend.

They are awesome live; I can't wait for the album to surface. Seeing John Paul Jones on slide guitar was probably the highlight.

Tickets are out on the 4th for their upcoming UK tour, and if you do some digging you can order pre-sale tickets at 9am this morning (the 2nd)

There are a number of bootlegs of their early shows floating around on the internet, can’t post links though I am afraid as I think it’s against PH rules but you won't have to look very hard.

I got the same message but managed to get through in the end. The server was only open for about 20 minutes until all the tickets sold out, think it got battered with a lot of traffic so it was a bit hit and miss as to whether you could connect.

Tickets are available to the general public on seetickets at 10am on Friday, good luck.

Think there are still some left in the presale, although only for Plymouth and Blackpool now. Keep trying the link. Got a pair for Portsmouth - can't wait!

Try www.scarletmist.com , especially a few days before the gig. Its an ethical ticket exchange, you can only sell for face value (plus booking and postage) so no inflated prices.

yes

I've moaned about this sort of parasite a few times, and the PH capitalist-vultures keep harping on about "free market" and sh't like that. Ethics clearly doesn't seem to appear in some people's vocabulary...

I had never heard of these guys until the other night at a party, accidently stumbled (staggered) on them whilst picking songs from YouTube – the entire room was blown away.
Dying to see them live now, but can’t find tickets for Edinburgh gig.

I caught them on the highlights show from Reading, liked what I heard but only about 30s.

Didn't realise it was Dave Grohl - is he the busiest man in rock?
