Morning all,

My stepfather passed away recently, and left behind a decent collection of vinyl.

Its quite varied, including Queen. Bowie, Sham 69, Sabbath etc, and includes a few nice ones like Dark Side of the Moon with the posters and stickers inclided, unused.

Where would it be best to sell his collection? We wouldn't be looking for much to be honest, just want it to go to a good home who will appreciate it.

I can post up a full list of the albums if anyone's interested...

Thanks

feel free to PM me a list if you have one, but do you know what condition they're in?

best place would be ebay or similar. anything genuinely rare will attract bidders. record shops will take the lot but you won't get much return.

else save them for a car boot sale?

Parrot of doom was on here looking for something about the Dark side of the Moon posters etc to tidy up the Wiki entry recently. See here; http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

There is also a collector service where you e-mail them the record ident numbers, condition etc, they send you a value, you agree and they collect. I'll try and dig out the details.
