Hello!

Well, after a brief trip to the White Isle, I have decided to turn back to my roots of Trance. When you mention this word to most people, they will automatically think of sweat-drenched, clenched jaw, wide-eyed fools, stamping along in a darkened room. Not just that, I say – Trance has been slowly bought into the public consciousness in the mainstream – you have been subverted, and you don’t even realise it! The BBC have been particularly good at this – Grandstand/sports and Top Gear have been using Trance for years. And then if we look at Calvin Harris – he loves a good Trance riff, that he picks up, dusts off, and then feeds to the unsuspecting public!

Anyway, on to my latest offering – Acquiescence. This is a good dose of slow Trance – recorded at 131bpm, and not track is supposed to be over 133bpm. It fits well before ‘Free’, for those of you that have been following me for a while.

Enjoy!

Acquiescence
Will Holland ft Yana Kay – Tears In The Rain (Orjan Nilsen Rmx)
DJ Observer – Fake Call
Tempo Giusto – Tick Tock (DJ Note – I now officially hate this record. So dirty and confused. Sorry it’s in here now!)
Danilo Ercole – Harbour
Signum – What Ya Got 4 Me (Yvan Prog Trance Rmx)
Three Drives – Greece 2000 (Sander Van Dorn Rmx)
Marcel Woods – Inside Me
Sunquest ft Josie – A Little Bit Special
Atlantis Ocean - Divine

About bloody time. hehe

Another good mix. Gonna have to get this on my mp3 player, too. Running out of space... guess I'll have to remove the AVB mix!

Good mix, had it in the car recently and it went brilliantly with some hooning. Cheers chief!

Just stumbled across this.

I have another couple of mates from other car forums who do their own mixes and they are pretty cool so i'll have a wee listen to yours if you don't mind biggrin

One thing i've always wondered, how do you guys come up with the names?

Personally I name them either through words that have more than one meaning, when linked with images (Input, Output etc), interesting words (Puissant), or silly things that amuse me (Chip Shop Empire).

Still want to do one called 'crap spackle' though. Stole that one from Futurama.

Crap spackle sounds like it should be a hard house mix.

There's a track called "Spank bank" by David Newsum. Would seem fitting to include it on that one hehe
