Following on from the 'Favourite Guitarists' thread I thought it would be good for us all to list out favourite performances so we could get collectively get a handle on what each other like....and be introduced to stuff'n'st hehe

No idea what the song is, but the final credits song on the wii version of guitar hero. Awsome.

I was listening to The Faces today. I forgot how good Ronnie Wood is. Listen to 'Had me a Real Good Time', it's brilliant 'for the tune' playing.

The guitar work on Dire Straits' Private Investigations is incredible as it is on most of Knopflers masterpieces.

Pantera - most of it
Zakk Wylde - Funeral Bell
Steve Vai - Tender Surrender (such a dynamic range of tones in one song!!)
Joe Satriani - just about anything, but Flying In A Blue Dream and New Blues stand out

In 1997 Whisperin' Bob had a poll of best guitar solos - this made the top ten, along with Freebird and Jessica, some Steeley Dan and Frank Zappa (Duane) some Floyd and some other st - Peluso is abso-bloody-brilliant....

Roadrunner United - in the fire- played by matt heavy and corey bealieu

YouTube ' in the fire solo' and you will see it, amazing skill considering they were 18 and 20(iirc) at the time
