I really wish they would have more coverage earlier in the day. I won't repeat what I have said before about Wimbledon coverage, you can probably write your own rant there.
Anyway, I didnt realise until just now that there is a proper live streaming webcam looking at the Pyramid Stage. http://www.bbc.co.uk/glastonbury/2009/webcams/ I wish we could have had that on the run-up. Perhaps it uses the satellite data links provided by the BBC or whoever. The static images (refreshed every 10 mins in turn) are still running too:

Yeh, wouldn't be my first choice to present. Wish I was there! Pendulum sound pretty good.
Yes they did get the crowd going Hope i am wrong, because they were very good.

Think you were wrong, they were incredible and people in the live crowd are saying the same thing too. Remixing Calvin Harris for anyone in the crowd who was a bit more "pop music" was a genius idea, really had the crowd going. Just needed Prodigy to follow them on really!
I have a feeling The Prodigy will be awesome tonight, heard from a couple of people who've seen them live recently and they're really on it at the moment, can't wait!Gun said:

Blur were superb last night, great set, recorded The Prodigy so will watch that when I get a chance.
I thought Blur were terrible. Very shouty and the music seemed to have lost a lot of its charm. Maybe it should have stayed in the 90's with a lot of fond memories? Prodigy on the other hand, by christ they still have it.

Blimey, Franz Ferdinand are a bit rubbish, the crowd are virtually silent!
They all sound the same to me, typical generic pop trying to be indy guitar band. It was brought home all the more by the amazing Neil Young doing something like a 10 minute encore of Rockin in the Free World. MiniMan64 said:
Pendulum, Prodigy, Blur and Florence and the Machine (that slightly mental red head who was on with Ross Friday night) for me.

"Hello London!"
Florence and the Machine were outstanding. In fact Glastonbury this year seemed to be characterised by strong performances from some unhinged women; Florence, Lady GaGa, Yeah yeah yeahs, (dare I mention the Tings Tings) etc.How to Fail at Glastonbury 101 by the Black Eyed Peas:

BEP just didn't work for me and as you say "Hello Landon" was just plain wrong.
Thought Blur were an excellent way to close proceedings but I admire the planning the Beeb did to ensure that during the 20 minute break they could squeeze in the Prodigy doing Firestarter and Breath.
Been slowly trawling through all the videos up on the Beeb's site during work - I thought I'd watch loads over the weekend but I'd only scratched the surface :-)
Last night I watched a young poet
Hollie MnNish, I really liked that.
