Try www.soundonsound.com and the classifieds on Ultimate Guitar http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/forumdisplay....
You could also try the Amps forum on Harmony Central as they have a UK classifieds thread that runs there.
All appear to be pretty active, and I've bought from a few of those sources without issue
Out of interest, what do you have for sale?

As much as I'd love to be interested in the Mark IV, I think I've too many amps already!
Will be worth you posting an ad for it here too : http://forum.grailtone.com/index.php
How much are you looking for the Mk IV?

i wouldn't dismiss ebay out of hand. i sold my gretsch 5124 on their last year - paid £450, sold for £400 - as well as my fender blues jr - paid £320, sold for £300. the best part was ebay cancelled both my ads as i stated 'as new' in the titles, meaning i got my listing fees refunded and negotiated with the high bidders to complete outside of paypal!
Is there a patrick eggle forum site? There must be one for mesa, I'd list there.
how i wish i still had my gretsch

The amp is a MkIV combo, and the guitar is an early Berlin from the original factory when they only made the Berlin and the Berlin Pro (i.e. "Patrick Eggle" script on the body-coloured headstock and "Berlin" on the truss-rod cover).
I need to do a bit more research about prices but I'm thinking something like £1000 for the amp, maybe £500 for the guitar - really not sure, though.
Thanks again everyone, I'll maybe put a link here when I get them advertised.
