Good low cost guitar
Discussion
Last year i stupidly sold pretty much all of my music gear(Ibanez RG2550, Babicz Spider, Matamp Minimat a Roland guitar synth and loads of other stuff) which has left me pretty much just with my Spector Rebop bass.
ive been feeling the need for an electric guitar again but i dont have an overly high budget just now but would like something thats fairly well built and playable for £200-300 max. Not too surewhats good or not around that price nowadays, anyone got any suggestions?.

PRS SE series?
A early Patrick Eggle would be better in just about every respect than a Korean "PRS" SE.I had an early one and couldn't wait to shift it.

away to have a look around some local music shops on friday. The selection is usually rather dire but at least i can try some different ones to see what i want.
I would really like an Ibanez RG of some variety again even though i hate Floyd Rose style bridges.

I picked up an RG350 as I fancied adding a nutter metal guitar to my collection. Got to say I've been really quite impressed. The pick up's are good output, the neck is lightening fast and it's nicely finished for its price point...I would really like an Ibanez RG of some variety again even though i hate Floyd Rose style bridges.

The average price for a Pre 1996 New York is less than £300. The LA around £400. The most popular Berlin is higher.
