Corduroy played a song called Motorhead which had an F1 car going full chat at the at the beginning of it.

They also wrote a song called Ayrton Senna and one called mini (which has really good lyrics) so I think they were closet PH'ers!

The track "Mad Jack" on the eponymous Baker Gurvitz Army album features a short snippet of drummer Ginger Baker's Jensen V8. Reputedly. Certainly sounds like a V8.
The lyrics are semi-autobiographical and centre around Ginger's travels in Africa.
Can be found on the following page. Select the track from the list on the right of page. Car appears at around 4 mins 30.
