Any fans here? Just saw them in concert in Melbourne and they were awesome.

Definitely worth seeing them live if you get the chance.

I like their music, but the "singing" is awful. Having said that, I haven't heard Shogun yet, is it any good?

Please don't be angry with me. I'd never heard of Trivium until someone showed me this. It's very funny, just ignore the hate.

I saw Trivium when they were supporting Maiden on their Matter of Life or Death Tour. Two fav bands in one night was awsome!
Shogon is a very good album. Probably their best.

In complete contradiction to the OP and subsequent posts, i think Trivium's music is very good but seeing them live is a real off putter. Not very good at all, in fact they were rather corny, with typical cliched heavy metal looks and mannerisms

Definitely an excellent band, but one to just listen to albums on a good stereo rather than see live.

I actually have the same opinion but with Lamb of God. Saw them live and thought WTF (supporting Heaven & Hell) but actually like their albums.

Ah, Trivium is a weird one for me, they tick a lot of my boxes for music I like but they just don't do anything for me.

I agree with this - although the vocals are certainly not to my liking.

Taking into consideration their style, which isnt very original, I do find them quite easy to pick out.

I'm in the minority in that I think The Crusade is their best album. Shogun is pretty good, but does go on a bit in places

Either the crusade or ascendancy wink
I've probably seen them 7-9 times (I forget!) but have gone off them a bit recently, may have to look out the crusade again though.
First saw them at download in 2005, that was awesome!!
