Pearl Jam @ O2
Discussion
Anyone else going to see Pearl Jam at the O2 this summer?
Got my tickets from a friend of mine from university for the 18th August. I haven't seen him or spoken to him for nearly 5 years, but we shared a love of PJ and saw them at Wembley Arena in 2000. Yesterday he rang me completely out of the blue and told me we were going! What a complete hero.

Saw them last night - You won't be disappointed.
The set list was really varied, with a few mellower songs thrown in. Highlights for me were Black, Given to Fly, Rearviewmirror and Alive.
During Even Flow the vocal part was just finishing, and there was a wee instrumental bit before it lauches into Mike McCready's solo. I happened to look over to where Mike was standing, and noticed that his guitar strap was off. I thought it had slipped out the holder, but no, he was adjusting it so that he could play the solo BEHIND HIS BACK!!
Fantastic show.
Edited to add - just found Even Flow on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SApaAfeDIAs

I got a copy of the Manchester one I was at, but will probably get the official one, as even thought the quality is listenable, having the proper mixed and mastered one will be a hundred times better.
