New album is def a grower but I find that will all their albums now.
Dave Gahans last solo album is still my fav from the past few years.
Gave up with Dave after Dirty Sticky Floor - expected better after playing the angel, I personally like for a bad term more beat orienated tracks ie most of Violator.Dave Gahans last solo album is still my fav from the past few years.

They were on Jools Holland on Tuesday night, and again tonight (BBC2).
Although I've never ever been a fan of theirs, I was quite impressed with what they did.
But that said - the guitarist is doing a pretty good effort at being the next Keith Richards.
Good spot but I think Kieth Richards is in better nick than Martin Gore.Although I've never ever been a fan of theirs, I was quite impressed with what they did.

I was a huge DM fan up until the "Songs of Faith and Devotion" album - started going downhill in my opinion from then.
Biggest highlight for me was seeing them at Wembley Arena during the "Violator" tour. One of the best live gigs I have seen.
Same here. Was a huge fan of theirs in the '80s, but Violator was the last Depeche Mode album I bought. I'm glad for them that they're still in business though.Biggest highlight for me was seeing them at Wembley Arena during the "Violator" tour. One of the best live gigs I have seen.
They have a guitar player now? And it's Martin?!??? Next thing you know they'll have a drummer!!
SOTU is a classic DM album......it grows on ya the more you listen.,..gota say this is extremly good considering the stuff Dave Gahan has been mixed up in over the last 15 years.....drugs and all that.......you can hear him on jools hollands show saying he is dealing with his demons day by day
