I guess this must have been done before but if not, I would love to know your own personal top 5 songs to drive along to - Song title and artist?

Depends on what sort of driving. During the day I tend to listen to podcasts, Radio 4/5

At night, it tends to be music

1 Springsteen Point Blank (live version)
2 Raveonettes Beat City
3 Lou Reed Dirty Boulevard
4 Moby & New Order New Dawn Fades (liver version)
5 Nils Lofgren No Mercy
6 The Who Baba O'Riley

All great songs that work well on a dark, winding B road, played lod with no-one but me to listen.

Dear All,

Steve Gibbons Band: BSA
Bruce Springsteen: Born to Run
U2: Where the Streets Have No Name
Jimi Hendix: Cross Town Traffic
John Cougar: Small Town
Bob Seger: the Fire Inside
Bad Company: Good Lovin' Gone Bad

Oh dear, unreconstructed rawk n'roll and 4-3 to the Yanks.
Yes I did spend some time in the US in the late eighties smile

ETA Bad Company above and...
...how could I forget my going-to-Scotland-holidays trance mix incl:
Darren Tate: Destination (original mix)
State One: Forever and a Day (michael woods remix)
Armin van Buren: Burned with Desire (rising star vocal mix)...

...and as the rain stops and we head North around Lochcarron out comes a rainbow to:
Above and Beyond: Alone Tonight (club mix)

regards,
Jet

Well, it all depends on the mood doesn't it?

But if I'm in a stroppy driving mood:

Underworld: Juanita
Leftfield: Space Shanty
Stardust: Music Sounds Better
Megadeth: Hangar 18
Ralph Vaughan-Williams: Thomas Tallis Fantasia
