The Craft - my favourite
Grosse Point Blanke - I liked that one too, not sure if I've got too many "e"s in the title..
My favourite song placement in a movie though has to be The Pixies - Where Is My Mind at the end of Fight Club when the buildings start collapsing. I can't remember ever hearing a song fit the scene quite so well.

I actually have quite a few soundtrack albums so it depends what mood I am in.
If you want to mellow/chill out, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Meet Joe Back or Twin Peaks (bit creepy) are good.
For an 80's feel, Top Gun and Days of Thunder are good.
Deep and moody Terminator 2 or Total Recall.

Seem to remember Donnie Darko had a few good tunes as well

As soon as I saw the title I had the same idea, it's got a permanant place in my autochanger....perfect I find for driving on a motorway at night, no idea why but I just love listening to it in that contextWhoever chose the tracks did a brill job :-
