play in a swing band doing a fair bit of corporate and charity work and also do the odd local musical to get some cash in hand stuff (because 120 quid for 2 hours work is always good)

Mainly pay bari sax as that is my favourite.

Guitar, Mandolin, Bass, Drums, Percussion, bit of piano and violin.
Rock, Folk, Blues, Bluegrass, general stuff
Not now, was signed before. Still get the odd request to play with other bands and I also do the odd bit of production. Tbh, I try and do as little as possible - having been 'pro' before I know the level of dedication to deliver to a very high quality - I don't have the time to devote myself to it and would be unhappy to give anything less than 100%. Really only play for pleasure now without ant pressure - mainly drunk with friends smile

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m37lNrFApV4 - an example of the good 'ol days.

I play Lots of instruments badly. Used to be handy on the bass, but can't remember which end to blow down any more.
Salsa, Smooth Jazz & big string sections seem to earn me the most money.

ETA - used to be in some bands. No longer (Thank God). If drunk will play in the local on a Friday night. (Though will not remember with whom by Saturday morning)

Eyup

been playing years mate, only recently got back to it though

Was setting up a band, but the lead guitarist prefers playing at rehearsal and on his own which leaves us up st creek!

Now looking for a drummer, lead guitarist and possibly a singer

Not pre-defined style at all, just playing some random notes and seeing how we gel when playing freestyle, then working on it from there!

Got 2 potential gigs lined up too so I need to get moving frown

How long you been playing fella?

Guitar - mostly rhythm, bit of lead
Played in a band for about five years, gave it up last year because of pressure of working obscure shifts.
Rock/blues - most of the 'classics'. Planet Rock sounds like our set-list!
