Some guy called Fugitive. To be fair only a kid but listening to it live was just hilarious. The DJ was going on and on about how amazing this guy was going to be, the guy then goes on about all his fans begging for autograph and huge crushes at concerts & BBC wanting to interview him etc.

Then the DJ asks him to freestyle, after various requests "got anything faster" then "this is good but got anything American" he repeats 2 lines of his single and then just struggles in silence with the occasional "yeah, yeah" Eventually DJ comes in with "dont worry about it, lot of great rappers cant freestyle, you know what we gonna do, you come back next time and we'll do this"

Listen Again on BBC Radio webiste

DJ is called Max

Oh dear. How to reduce your street cred to zero in a few moments...

a few months ago trevor nelson had someone on, missed who it was but they asked him to sing along to his own record. What followed was the most excruciating 3 minutes of him wailing along, then realising he was out of tune so doing the obligatory "yeah, c'mon"'s and then the producer obviously screaming in trevors ear, "f**kin kill this, NOW!" so music fades to singer ending with a long, "oh yeah baybeeeeeeee"

1 second of silence, applause, trevor says, oh man that was amazing, and so in tune!

I almost crashed for laughing.

About 43 and a half minutes in - he completely blanks, it's cringeworthy. She even gave him an opt-out but he was adamant he could do it..

Mann, that was bad.

Oh wait, it's not finished yet...

Goodddd

Stop man, STOPP!!

ETA: How embarrassing that she kept referring to him as "15 year old boy", goodbye street cred.

...and he barely raps in his record either...
